Susan B. Anthony

Susan Brownell Anthony 1880-1906
Born in Adams, Massachusetts

Susan B. Anthony was a women's rights activist who worked for women's suffrage.  She co-founded the Women's Temperance Movement, as well as the women's rights journal, The Revolution.  She was even arrested for voting and took her case to the Supreme Court in 1872, which allowed her to spread her message even further.
